After the recent 11 goal thriller against Walsall FC, the Pitmen have been given the plum draw of the Birmingham County FA Senior Challenge Cup, a home Quarter Final tie against West Bromwich Albion FC.

This excellent looking tie brings together two of the big scoring sides in this seasons competition for what will surely be a great night out at Keys Park. The match has yet to be arranged and is to be played on or before 28th January 2012.

In the Staffordshire Senior Cup the away tie at Newcastle Town FC has been moved from Tuesday 6th December to Tuesday 13th December to allow Newcastle Town FC to catch up on their overdue Doodson Sport Cup match and, provided that the Pitmen are not drawn against the winners of that match, we should be playing in the Doodson Sport Cup 4th Round on the 6th December.
