Pre-Season Friendly Fixtures

We are pleased to announce a number of pre-season matches where manager Rob Smith will be looking to test his new team for the forthcoming season. There are still a couple more dates to be filled that are under discussion and we will keep everyone updated as they are confirmed.
The first game will be on Tuesday 10th July, 7.30pm kick off, when the Pitmen will be away at AFC Wulfrunians, coming up against former club captain Steve Palmer.
On Tuesday 17th July, 7.30pm kick off, Keys Park will host Conference Play Off Semi-finalists Mansfield Town who will almost certainly have two or three former Pitmen in their ranks.
On Saturday 21st July, 3.00pm kick off, former player Steve Farmer will bring his newly promoted Bedworth United team to Keys Park and then on Tuesday 31st July, 7.30pm the visitors will be Sutton Coldfield Town FC.
The final pre-season friendly will see the Pitmen travel to Wales coming up against former player and manager Bernard McNally’s Newton AFC on Saturday 11th August.

Thanks for the info, rather bland set of matches but so long as they enable the manager to prepare his team properly no problem.Presumably one of the remaining fixtures might see a league side at keys park? and a friend of mine at Tamworth tells me we are playing them?

Mansfield must be a tie in with Clemos move, shame Walsall or Wolves couldn't come down.
