Match arrangements for Leamington FC

Friday 27/12/2013

Please note the helpful advice that we have received from Leamington FC for tomorrow’s away game.

“Travel and Match Arrangements – Help Us Help You

With a large attendance anticipated for Brakes match against championship leaders Hednesford Town on Saturday at the New Windmill Ground, we are asking supporters of both sides to help with travel and parking by using the Free ‘Park N Ride’ Bus Service, or by car sharing or using the Brakes Trust Mini-bus service.

For those coming to the New Windmill Ground for the first time, please note that although there is parking for approximately 350 vehicles there is NO alternative ‘on street parking’, as we are located on a busy country road with no pavements and surrounded by farmland.
We ask all supporters attending the game to either arrive early a little bit earlier or give themselves additional time to utilise the FREE Park N Ride service.

FREE PARK & RIDE

A single double-decker will operate as scheduled below:
Leamington Rail Station 1350 1425
Juno Drive, CV31 3TA 1355 1430
Windmill Inn, Tachbrook Road 1400 1435
Heathcote Pub, Tachbrook Road 1402 1437
Arriving at the New Windmill Ground 1410 1445

Please note that the parking at Plastic Engineering on the corner of Juno Drive is no longer available to us, although there is ample on street parking available in Juno Drive and nearby. The collection point in Juno Drive will be at the (Wolseley Complex) end. The double-decker bus will depart shortly after the conclusion of the match with a second journey at 1750 hours. PRIORITY will be given to departure of the bus service.

CAR SHARE
We ask all supporters parking within the confines of the New Windmill Ground to assist us by car sharing where possible

BRAKES TRUST MINI-BUS SERVICE
The supporters trust operate a low cost mini-bus service with various collection points across Warwick and Leamington. For full details of their schedule visit their website brakestrust.com

The clubhouse and bar will open at 12.30pm. In a feast of football action, live on the ‘Big Screen’ in the clubhouse on BT Sport will be Southampton v Chelsea (3pm ko) and Manchester United v Spurs (5.30pm ko).”
