As Rob Smith and his staff continue to prepare the squad for the season ahead, we are able to give some more news on player movements at Keys Park.
The two players signed from Brackley Town in the summer, Steve Diggin and Glenn Walker joined up with the squad at training last night after returning from holiday. Goalkeeper Dan Crane also rejoined the squad after returning from honeymoon.
In a busy evening, the manager also agreed terms with full back, Sam Griffiths, who has impressed in the pre-season friendlies to date. Sam is a quick and effective full back who came through the academy at Brentford Town FC, joining Conference Premier side Braintree Town FC last summer.
He is a local lad from Wolverhampton and I am sure will enjoy playing his football a bit closer to home, so a big welcome to Keys Park for Sam.
On another note, we have agreed that Charlie Anagho-Ntamark can go out on a season-long loan to neighbouring Rushall Olympic FC to further his development with more match experience.
