One in one out at Keys Park

We can now confirm that the club have completed the signing of goalkeeper Dave Parton, who was most recently with Altrincham.

The 22-year-old played 15 times in the Conference Premier for the Robins last season, ending the season as their number one shot stopper.

He joins the Pitmen following his surprise release from a team that actually paid a fee for him just 12 months ago, after signing him from Newcastle Town.

Meanwhile midfielder Richard Batchelor has decided to leave the club and sign for league rivals Brackley Town.

The 26-year-old joined the club in October 2014 following his release from Leamington and enjoyed a memorable debut scoring twice against Oxford City.

We would like to thank ‘Batch’ for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him all the best for the future.

Talks are ongoing with all other players who have not yet been mentioned in any form of press release.
