National League Clubs To Pay Respects to Air Disaster Victims

Friday 28/08/2015

Hednesford Town will join their fellow Vanarama National League Clubs as they hold a minute’s silence this Saturday August 29th prior to kick off against FC United of Manchester as a mark of respect to all those who lost their lives in the Shoreham air disaster last weekend.

There will be a minute’s silence before all National League, National League North and National League South games and as a show of unity and as part of the Football Family, players, match officials and supporters will be asked to join together to pay their respects to all those who so tragically lost their lives and have been affected by the Shoreham Airshow tragedy.

The eleven victims sadly included Matthew Grimstone and Jacob Schilt who were both on their way to play for Southern Combination League side Worthing United that afternoon.
