Match Preview: Coleshill Town (A)

Tuesday 13/10/2015

The Pitmen will be looking to put Saturday’s FA Cup defeat firmly behind them when they take on Coleshill Town in the Birmingham Senior Cup this evening.

For the majority of Hednesford Town supporters it will be the first opportunity to visit Pack Meadow, the home of Coleshill, with the two sides not having crossed paths before at this venue.

In fact, games between the two sides are very few and far between with the teams only having played each other once before, that being at the Cross Keys ground in the first round of this competition. That evening saw a narrow 2-1 victory for the Pitmen.

Although the home side come into this game on the back of a heavy defeat in the FA Cup themselves, with them playing on their newly laid artificial pitch and being managed by former Pitman Youth Team manager Paul Casey, it will certainly not be an easy task.

Bernard McNally is set to have an almost full squad of players to pick from with just Marvin Robinson still missing due to a calf injury sustained in training just under two weeks ago.

The game kicks off at the usual time of 7.45pm and Hednesford will be playing in their away strip.
