Peers extends loan spell as Disney departs Keys Park

Thursday 14/01/2016

Hednesford Town Football Club have today been able to extend striker Tom Peers loan spell from Chester by a further month.

The forward, who has scored once in three appearances in the last month, will stay with the Pitmen into February – offering manager Frank Sinclair further options up front.

Leaving the club though is defender John Disney who is set to move to a Welsh Premier League side in the coming days.

After discussions between all parties it was agreed by all that it was for the best interest of the player to let him go and play football elsewhere.

We would like to thank ‘JD’ for his efforts in a Hednesford shirt not only this season but for the previous two years that he was at Keys Park and everyone at the football club wishes him all the very best for the future.
