New General Manager Starts Keys Park Role

Wednesday 18/05/2016

Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to announce that a General Manager has been appointed to oversee the day-to-day running at Keys Park.

As the club looks to work hard off the field in order to try and regain a place back in the National League set-up at the first attempt, we are delighted to welcome Carl Cooper into the role as General Manager.

Over the course of the last two years, Carl has become a familiar face around Keys Park, while since May 2015 he has been the Safety Officer for the Pitmen – overseeing match days and numerous other tasks which that role comprises.

Carl began his new job at the start of this week and will be based in the Commercial Office at the club between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday and he is now looking for the support of Hednesford fans and local businesses.

He said: “After being at the club for a couple of years I have seen the passion that the Hednesford Town fans show and how much support they want to give the club.

“I relish the challenge of improving local links with the club and making both match days and functions a more enjoyable experience.

“It’s exciting times at Keys Park with the announcement of the appointment of Liam McDonald as first team manager and more announcements due in the next couple of weeks, so supporters will see a new chapter starting for the Pitmen.”

Anyone wishing to get in touch with Carl can do so by either visiting the football club, by calling 01543 422870 or by emailing office@hednesfordtownfc.com
