Hednesford Town return to Keys Park for their penultimate game of pre-season when Mansfield Town visit on Monday evening.

The Stags are set to send their full first team squad to take on Liam McDonald’s team as they prepare to start their Football League campaign on Saturday.

Among the Mansfield players will be a familiar face in the form of Chris Clements who is of course well remembered for the time that he spent at Keys Park before moving on up the football pyramid.

The Pitmen are set to be without Tom Thorley, Cohen Bramall, Michael Williams, Gurjit Singh and George Carline with McDonald set to give some younger players a chance to impress.

Those carrying knocks in recent weeks have now fully recovered to take their place in the squad.

The game will kick-off at the usual midweek time of 7.45pm.
