Match Preview: Solihull Moors (H)

Wednesday 20/07/2016

The Pitmen welcome last season’s National League North champions Solihull Moors to Keys Park on Wednesday evening, aiming to get back to winning ways after running a Wolves U21 side close last weekend.

Solihull were, of course, opponents of Hednesford last season – with us drawing at home and defeating the champions just a few short months ago on our travels.

Liam McDonald’s side have been assured that they will face a Solihull Moors first team squad – with former Pitmen star Jamey Osborne now being among the ranks of the Moors after signing for them in the summer, along with regular “thorn in the side” Stefan Moore likely to be available as well.

Tristan Dunkley will miss the game after spraining his ankle last time out. However, the manager has been boosted in the last week by the return of striker Danny Glover following a knock which had kept him out of the opening two friendly games. Michael Williams is also now expected to be available.

The game kicks off at the usual evening time of 7.45pm and we look forward to welcoming you to Keys Park.
