Manager Adds Two Players to his Keys Park Squad

Thursday 24/11/2016

Hednesford Town manager Paul Casey has moved to make two new additions to his squad at Keys Park.

Returning to the club, following a spell at Rugby Town, is defender Kyle Rowley. The former Walsall trainee joined the Pitmen in August 2016 after spending a short period with Sutton Coldfield Town.

In the last month Rowley, 20, has been playing for Rugby in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South, but he has now decided to rejoin the Pitmen following the appointment of Casey.

The manager has also returned to his old side Coleshill Town in order to sign winger Reece Leek. After playing for two years at Sutton Coldfield Town he joined Coleshill last season and has scored seven goals in 17 games for them this time around.

Casey said:

“Reece is quick and good in the air while also having an eye for a goal, having helped Sutton win promotion to step three.

“He turned down several opportunities to play at step three while playing for me at Coleshill but the potential of playing for Hednesford Town was one that he could not turn down.”

Both players will be available for selection on Saturday when the Pitmen host Coalville Town at Keys Park.
