Hednesford Town Football Club has been selected to host an England Women’s International game at its Keys Park home.

John Griffiths’s Young Lionesses will gear up for their Euro qualifiers by taking on Norway and USA later this month.

The England Women’s Under-17s will entertain Norway at Keys Park on Thursday 23 February before hosting the USA at AFC Telford United two days later.

This double-header will act as preparation for next month’s elite qualifying round, when England face Poland (Saturday 25 March), Germany (Monday 27 March) and Italy (Thursday 30 March) in a round-robin tournament where the group winners will advance to the Euro finals.

As well as hosting the England squad, Keys Park has also been chosen as the venue to host matches between Germany and Italy on Saturday 25 March and Poland v Italy on Monday 27 March.

Ticket prices for all three fixtures will be Adults £3, Children £1 and OAPs £1.50. Group bookings for 15 people or more will cost 50p per person while complimentary tickets are available for any school that brings along over 45 people.

Hednesford Town General Manager, Carl Cooper, said:

“We are pleased to be hosting these prestigious games at Keys Park. With the first game falling on a half term week we hope to see lots of our supporters coming along to support the England Women’s side as they gear up for their Euro qualifiers by taking on Norway.”
