Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to announce the launch of a full time Girls’ Academy in conjunction with the SCL Education Group and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The academy will run in conjunction with the boys’ full time academy, which started earlier this year, and trials for both academies will begin in October so that the Girls’ Academy can enter a team into the 2018/19 campaign.

General Manager, Carl Cooper, said:

“We are delighted to finally be able to announce this exciting news as we look to develop a further side of the football club with the launch of our own Girls’ Academy.

“Hopefully this will help us attract even more support to the football club as we look to progress the best football talent in the region.”
