New Appointments at Keys Park

Thursday 09/11/2017

Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to confirm two new ‘off the field’ appointments  at Keys Park.

Firstly we are delighted to welcome Keiran Sanders to the club with him taking up the role as managing the Hednesford Town FC Academy.

Keiran will undertake the position alongside his current role as tutor, being employed by SCL Ltd, our Academy education provider.

Following his appointment, he said:

“I am delighted to have been asked by Hednesford Town to become the Academy manager. After spending eight years fulfilling many roles within the education sector this is a role that really excites.

“I have a love and passion for both teaching and football, and this role allows me to marry both of my passions together. I hope to grow the academy and hope to see this benefits that this brings to the young people involved in the academy, and ultimately the benefits it can bring to the club.”

We are also pleased to confirm that Terry McMahon has returned to Keys Park as Club Secretary – a role which he had undertaken for a number of years previously before stepping down to the role of Match Secretary in the summer of 2017.

The football club are also looking at other key functions and there will be a couple more appointments in due course.

These moves come after General Manager Carl Cooper departed from the football club last week.
