Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Mikey Nelson has agreed a deal at Keys Park following a short trial period.

Nelson, who plays in the forward positions, impressed the management team during our game against AFC Wulfrunians where he scored the second goal to put his then side 2-0 up.

After this game, contact was made with Nelson, who had also scored against Stourbridge for Wulfrunians, to invite him for a trial.

The lively frontman has impressed enough to earn a deal at Keys Park and will now be part of the first team squad going into the new season.

Nelson will be looking to continue his good form when Tamworth visit Keys Park on Thursday, 02 August, 7.45pm kick-off.
