Wednesday 17/10/2018

Hednesford Town Football Club can this morning confirm that midfielder Jermain Hollis has departed Keys Park.

The midfielder joined the Pitmen in the summer after impressing with Coalville Town last season – going on to score once for Rob Smith’s side this season.

Following the news, Smith said:

“Jermain is one of the good guys in football, a true gentleman. Our inconsistency means I have to make changes and unfortunately Jermain has been travelling a long way with not much game time. I sincerely wish him all the best in the game and thank him for his time with us.”

Everyone at Keys Park would like to thank Jermain for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.

In other news the Pitmen will travel to AFC Mansfield in the First Qualifying Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy on Saturday 27th October, 3pm kick-off, after they triumphed in their replay on Tuesday evening.

We have also found out our opponents in the Staffordshire Senior Cup Second Round – with us set to travel to Lichfield City on a date to be confirmed.
