Match Preview: North Ferriby United (A)

Wednesday 26/12/2018

Hednesford Town return to action this afternoon as we make the long trip, for a Boxing Day fixture, up to East Yorkshire to take on North Ferriby United.

This is the first time in three years that our paths have crossed with Ferriby after they were relegated back to this level of football last season. They have so far struggled to adapt to life back in step three and find themselves bottom of the table with 10 points from their 23 league games – albeit we know from previous trips to here how difficult a place it can be.

Meanwhile we go into the game looking to gain some kind of form again after suffering four straight league defeats and not having won on the road since early October.

Caretaker Manager Francino Francis will be without midfielder Josh Craddock, injured, and defender Rudy Misambo, holiday. Apart from these two though he will have a full squad to choose from as he looks to gain a three point haul that would be most welcome.

We’d like to thank all supporters who are making the trip up to North Ferriby, on what is a traditionally the date of a local fixture, and remind you that the game kicks off at 3pm.
