Two New Additions To Pitmen Squad

Thursday 28/03/2019

The Hednesford Town management team of Nicky Eaden and Gary Hayward have moved to bolster their squad for the final run-in with the addition of two further players.

First to sign was attacking midfielder Andre Wright. The 22-year-old began his career with West Bromwich Albion before spending time on loan at National League sides Kidderminster Harriers and Torquay United, linking up on a similar loan deal with Football League side Coventry City in 2017.

Despite impressing with Coventry, a move to Kidderminster would follow in the summer of 2017 before spells with Nuneaton Town, Torquay United and Gloucester City.

The second new face arriving at Keys Park is striker Bradley Wells – the brother of Pitmen frontman Kieran. Wells joins from Spalding United, with whom he formed a previous partnership with his sibling earlier this season.

Wells, 28, lists Ollerton Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Stamford AFC and AFC Mansfield Town among his former clubs along with another spell with Spalding where he bagged 30 goals first time around.

Both players have been registered in the last 24 hours and will be available for selection for Saturday’s home game against Matlock Town.
