New Hednesford Town FC manager, Gary Hayward, has moved today to commence building his coaching team for next season.
Mark Ward will be joining the Pitmen after stepping down as manager at AFC Mansfield earlier this week.
Gary Hayward said, “I am delighted that Mark has accepted the offer to join us, he is a very capable manager in his own right and will be a valuable addition to the staff. He knows the standards that we require and also knows a number of our current players well.”
Mark started his football career with Sheffield United FC and played his non League football with Belper Town, Worksop Town, Hucknall Town, Frickley Athletic and Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Mark commented “Hednesford’s a great non league club and I can’t wait to get my teeth into this new challenge.”
