St Ives Town v Hednesford Town (A)

Friday 15/11/2019

Hednesford Town’s travels continue this weekend with another long trek, this time to Cambridgeshire to face St Ives Town in the BetVictor Premier Central. The Ives are currently struggling for form, sitting 20th in the league after three successive defeats, as well as exiting the FA Trophy at the hands of Soham Town Rangers.

Pitmen manager Gary Hayward; “It’s another long journey and like with Leiston on Tuesday night we want another three points. We will try to do what we do best and that is to win games. We need to carry on being professional and make sure we work harder than the opposition. I will always keep telling the lads that hard work is the key and that you are only as good as your last game.”

Sam Griffiths is still a week away from fitness, while James Hurst’s and Ben O’Hanlon’s fitness will be assessed before the game.
