Third-placed Peterborough Sports are the visitors to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park on Tuesday night in the BetVictor Premier League Central. A fine run of form for the Turbines came to an end last week with a with 2-0 defeat at Barwell before bouncing back at the weekend to earn a 2-2 draw at Kings Langley. Such is the tightness in the top half of the league table, the ninth placed Pitmen are only four points behind Peterborough with a game in hand.
With no new injury worries or suspensions to contend with joint caretaker manager Danny Glover ahead of the game said; “It will be another tough game but it is coming at a perfect time where we will only have had to wait three days to put right Saturday’s loss to Coalville Town. That is what we must do – go out and beat a top three side.”
