Hednesford Town v Kings Langley (H)

Friday 07/02/2020

Saturday’s visitors to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park are Kings Langley. The Pitmen came away from Hertfordshire with a 2-0 win earlier in the season, the Kings who are a point and place behind Hednesford Town, are currently on an unbeaten run of eight games.

Ahead of the game Danny Glover said; “We were very poor as a group against Nuneaton and confidence has taken a hit. We’ve got to dig deep, especially the senior players and drive the team forward. We have to dust ourselves down as Kings Langley are doing well at the moment and it will be a tough game. We need the fans more than ever this weekend to get three points, we must stick together no matter how difficult it gets. I thought Tom Hewlett did well under difficult circumstances on Tuesday night and he will help with the firepower up top.”

In squad news Callam Mendez-Jones has re-joined the Pitmen from Buxton FC, with Matt Curley moving in the opposite direction. Hednesford Town FC would like to welcome Callam back to Keys Park and thank Matt for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future.
