Community Programme

The Hednesford Town Football Club Community Programme is currently working in schools throughout the Staffordshire area. The aims of the programme are designed to create and develop a commitment to the local community. It is designed to make a difference to both the physical and mental well-being of children in the area, whilst improving the relationship between the community and the football club. The programme will be football based but will also include multi-skills sessions designed at improving key concepts such as agility, balance and co-ordination which benefit the individuals throughout many sporting and physical activities.

The programme will include afterschool/lunchtime clubs, Physical Education lessons and a number of other activities designed to encourage participation and also improve performance among the participants.
The sessions will be taken by Physical Education graduates who are also highly qualified sports coaches in a number of sporting areas with a wealth of experience of taking lessons and delivering activities to children of a wide age range.

The Hednesford Town FC Community Programme will create links with local schools, develop relationships and develop projects which will benefit the whole community.
We will also be running courses throughout the schools holidays held at our Keys Park Stadium, giving youngsters the opportunity to experience playing on the pitch whilst learning and improving football skills.
