It is with some regret that we have to announce the departure of striker, Neil Harvey, who last night terminated his contract with the club by mutual agreement. Neil has been a fine player for the Pitmen in his two seasons at the club and was a key member of the promotion team.
Changes in personal circumstances have made it difficult for ‘Harvs’ to commit to travelling to train etc. and it was felt that this was the most amicable solution for both parties.
Neil goes with our very best wishes for the future and our thanks for his contribution and some great memories.

As one player moves on, Rob Smith has moved quickly to secure a replacement and today we have registered former Port Vale striker, Danny Glover as a Pitman.
Danny started the season at Worcester City FC and then moved to Bradford Park Avenue but was recently released as a result of budget restrictions. His registration has gone through and he will be available to join the squad for tomorrow’s home game against Workington AFC.
