Major transfer coup for the Pitmen

Today we are able to announce that Rob Smith has, once again, pulled off a major transfer coup with the capture of James Hurst from Icelandic side Valur.

22 year old James already has a number of major clubs on his CV, West Bromwich Albion, Portsmouth and Crawley Town among them, as well as representing England up to Under 20 level. He will be a great addition to the squad for the forthcoming campaign.

The signing of James Hurst, together with the other players previously announced, endorses Rob Smith’s intent for his team to remain competitive in Conference North for the season ahead.
