Tuesday 10/01/2017

Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to now be able to announce that defender Cohen Bramall has signed for Premier League side Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old, who arrived at Keys Park in May 2016 from Market Drayton Town, impressed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger during two separate trial spells – with him offering the left-sided player a deal at the Emirates Stadium.

Bramall, who lists Nantwich Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Newcastle Town among his previous sides, made a total of 26 appearances for the Pitmen with him scoring one goal in that time.

Hednesford Town Chairman, Steve Price, said: “We are all delighted for Cohen in what is a fantastic move for him to Arsenal.

“Everyone at the football club would like to wish him all the very best for the future during what is a very exciting time in his footballing career.”

The football club would also like to go on record to thank Cohen’s agent, Lee Payne who was very instrumental in making this move happen.

We would like to thank Cohen for his efforts while with the Pitmen with everyone at Keys Park wish him all the best for the future.
