‘SA Day’ at Keys Park As Members Invited To Bring A Friend

Wednesday 27/03/2013

The Hednesford Town Football Club Supporters Association would like to invite all members to bring a friend to Keys Park for Saturday afternoon’s clash with Buxton as they look to reach the milestone of their 100th member.

Saturday has been titled SA Day as the Association looks to achieve the milestone of 100 members. The day will see all members coming together before the game whilst the SA will also be sponsoring the match ball for the game.

The Supporters Association is very close to the century mark of full members and is offering a signed match ball for the person who takes the organisation into triple figures.

SA Joint-Chairman Scott Smith talked of how proud he is that a group which started from humble beginnings just over two years ago now boasts a membership of almost a quarter of regular attendees at Keys Park and hopes that the Association can keep growing in the future.

‘It really is great news that we are so close to our 100th member. A lot of people have put a lot of hard work in to grow the SA from its initial inception and I believe that we now offer the opportunity for supporters to get involved with the Club in any way they can.

‘Saturday’s SA day, where members can meet with the Committee to discuss how we can better represent their interests as supporters, could hopefully see us reach the 100 mark and see that person receive a signed match ball.’

All members are encouraged to bring a friend along who may be interested in joining the Supporters Association to the Chase Suite, after entering the ground, from 2.00pm where they can meet with representatives of the Committee, speak with fellow members and get information on the SA including fixture distribution leaflets and the Pitmen Prize Draw.

Tea, Coffee and chips will be available free of charge to all those who attend.
