Club on lookout for match highlights volunteer

Saturday 20/06/2015

As the Football Club continues to build towards the new campaign, we are searching for someone to film and edit into a ‘highlights’ package all first team matches.

Since Jon Hawkins first started filming games in 2011, they have been popular with Hednesford Town supporters all over the world.

He managed to capture many memorable moments, and some that we would also like to forget! However they have proved to be an excellent resource over the years.

Sadly with Jon having moved away for work in 2014, last season became somewhat sporadic in filming matches – although we were grateful to Staffordshire University student Ashley Martin for undertaking the role during the final few months of the campaign.

We have a camera and tripod to enable the new person to start filming games straight away and although this voluntary role would be best filled by someone with filming knowledge, training can be provided.

It is also desirable that the person in question could also edit the game down into highlights in order for them to then be used on our YouTube channel.

The role would see the chosen person needing to be available between 2.30pm and 5pm on a Saturday and 7.15pm and 9.45pm during a midweek.

Anyone interested is asked to apply with contact details and any relevant experience to office@hednesfordtownfc.com or by writing to HTFC, Keys Park, Keys Park Road, Hednesford, Staffordshire, WS12 2DZ.
