Two more sign on at Keys Park

Tuesday 09/06/2015

Manager Rob Smith has this week swooped to bring in two new faces to Keys Park as he continues to bolster his squad ahead of the start of the Pitmen’s 2015 pre-season campaign.

Arriving at the club are left-back Tom James and midfielder Jon Adams, who were both most recently with fellow National League North side Tamworth.

James, 26, started his career at Stratford Town before being signed by Championship side Watford. This was followed by spells at Nuneaton Town and Daventry Town before being a regular for the Lambs last season – playing in both league victories against the Pitmen.

Midfielder Adams meanwhile is a familiar face to Smith with him having been part of the AFC Telford United squad which played at this level during his tenure at the New Bucks Head.

The 30-year-old also played in the Conference Premier for Telford before joining Nuneaton Town, moving to the Lamb 12 months ago.

We would like to welcome both players to Keys Park.
