Match Preview: Nantwich Town (H)

Friday 24/02/2017

The Pitmen return to action on Saturday as we host Nantwich Town at Keys Park.

After two victories against Skelmersdale United and Ilkeston in the last week, the Pitmen go into the game full of confidence.

This will be the first time in just over four years that we have faced the Dabbers at Keys Park, with us recording a 3-0 victory on that occasion.

It was back in September that the Pitmen made the trip up to Nantwich with both sides having to settle for a point in an entertaining 1-1 draw.

With Nantwich currently sitting in the top five, five points ahead of us, it will be a tough test for the Pitmen but one that the players are ready for.

The caretaker team will once again be without Jordan Fitzpatrick (hamstring) who will miss out after picking up the injury recently but Tony Clarke should be fit to take his place again after coming through Tuesday evening unscathed.

Striker Alfons Fosu-Mensah is no longer available as he departed from the club earlier this week.

The game kicks off at 3pm and Strikers Bar will be open to all supporters both before and after the match.
