Robinson Returns in Coaching Role

Thursday 09/02/2017

Hednesford Town Football Club can this evening confirm that fans’ favourite Marvin Robinson has returned to Keys Park in order to take up the position of First Team Coach.

Robinson, who spent two previous spells as a player with the Pitmen, returns to work alongside Gary Birch, Gavin Hurren and Mark Kavengh.

All four make up the caretaker team that have been installed as the club looks for a successor to Paul Casey following his departure as manager earlier this week.

Birch said: “I’m delighted to have Marvin on-board with us. Marv and I go back a long way having played together at Walsall and Lincoln City.

“I know that he very much has this club at heart and it is great to have him as part of this caretaker team.”

The Pitmen return to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League action this weekend with a trip to Blyth Spartans.
