Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that two more players have joined the Pitmen squad ahead of our opening pre-season friendly at Heath Hayes on Saturday.

Firstly, welcome back to Izak Reid who has signed after impressing in pre-season training. Vastly experienced Izak was with us towards the end of last season and has previously played for Chasetown, Stafford Rangers, AFC Telford, Morecombe and Macclesfield Town.

We have also added the technically gifted midfielder Liam Truslove to the squad. He is a former Birmingham City academy player who has arrived at Keys Park from Kidderminster Harriers. Liam has also represented Rushall Olympic during a loan spell last season.

Manager Gary Hayward had this to say; “Izak is a very quick frontman with great experience; he’s come back in great shape, looking very sharp and looks like he has got a point to prove. I hope he does really well for the team. Liam is a great attacking midfielder with an eye for goal, he had a few injuries last year and is another to come to Hednesford with something to prove”.

Everyone at the club would like to extend a warm welcome to both Izak and Liam and wish them a successful time at the PRG Roofing & Construction Stadium at Keys Park.
