Hednesford Town have made the difficult decision to withdraw from this season’s Staffordshire Senior Cup. Our First Round game against Tamworth has suffered three postponements, delaying the progress of the competition. Our extended run in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, the long period of unsettled weather and a full midweek fixture list have conspired to make this action necessary.

Tamworth will now play Kidsgrove Athletic in the next round, with the winners facing Stoke City.
