Hednesford Town v Bromsgrove Sporting (H)

Friday 14/02/2020

Hednesford Town are looking to upset the form book as second placed Bromsgrove Sporting are Saturday’s visitors to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park. The Rouslers are in great form with only two defeats in their last fifteen games in the BetVictor Premier League Central.

Ahead of the game joint caretaker manager Danny Glover said; “I am glad that everyone is now aware of the good news that came out of the club earlier in the week about the takeover; it will help massively with the future of the club. The uncertainty has been a distraction and it has been difficult to motivate one or two players who have been looking to leave in recent weeks. Unfortunately, this has a negative effect on the players who do want to stay and perform in a Hednesford shirt. Dan Sweeney and Callam Mendez-Jones joined last week and they are two big signings for us and will bolster the group.”

Midfielder Jed Davies has re-joined the Pitmen after leaving for Keys Park in January 2019 to join Stafford Rangers, he has also had spells at Chasetown, Coalville Town, Romulus, Tamworth and Redditch United. Welcome back Jed!

Meanwhile it can be confirmed that Reece King has left Keys Park, opting to join Buxton FC.

Danny added; “Bromsgrove are on a high and are doing brilliantly in the league, they have a really powerful and effective squad. They handed us a 4-0 drubbing earlier in the season and we will need to match them in every department, we need a strong performance and a home win.”

Kick off is at 3pm
