21/22 Hednesford Town Team Photo & Update.

Monday 26/07/2021

As we near the start of the 21/22 season, this was the first opportunity we have had to get together as a full team together as part of the #OneClubOneBadge ethos.

It was a proud moment for sure as all players, managers, coaches and parents, got together for the team photo.

Everyone involved (and those who was unable to attend the photo), have worked very tirelessly behind the scenes to all become one together, in order to create pathways to the first team, and to support and evolve the club together.

Teams who are part of the Hednesford Town Football Club set up are as follows –

First team – Managed by KMR (home games at Keys Park playing in the Southern Central Premier Division)

Academy Teams – Managed by KMR (home games at 5’s Hednesford playing in the U19 Alliance, and SCL Youth Development League)

Veterans Team (over 35s) – Managed by Shaun Ralph (home games at Keys Park playing in the Central Warwickshire Over 35s League)

Ladies U19’s – Managed by Sam Paddock (playing in the Staffs Girls & Ladies League)

Girls U17’s – Managed by Martin Fowler (playing in the Central Warwickshire League)

Girls U15s – Managed by Emma Eskriett (playing in the Staffs Girls & Ladies League)

Boys U18’s – Managed by Boyd Ingram (playing in the Midland Floodlit Youth League)

Boys U18’s – Managed by KMR & Boyd Ingram (playing in the SCL Youth Development League)

Boys U15’s – Managed by Andy Peet (playing in the Midland Junior Premier League)

Boys U15’s – Managed by Andy Peet (playing in the Walsall league)

Boys U15’s – Managed by Dave Clarke (playing in the Midland Junior Premier League)

All teams above are currently the only official Hednesford Town FC affiliated teams, and create the pathway for youth of all ages, through to our open age categories (which whilst is only men’s open this year, we are working towards also achieving a open ladies team to play from Keys Park in the 22/23 season).  We will be releasing further information & details on each of the teams in the near future and will also be keeping everyone informed of their progress during the forthcoming season.  We have all planned to work together to bring a identity throughout the club, into each and every team, to suit each individual teams style of play, and to develop the best from each individual player for each team.  Whilst we all provide benefits for teams and the club alike, supporting each other along the journey of football.  Once coming through the youth age groups, our Academy intake which is run from the club itself and also 5’s in Hednesford, then develop further players academic and playing skills, to develop individuals for their future careers.  As seen as recent times, this has proven to be a successful passage to take, given how many of the academy players have broken into the first team and that have played at Keys Park.

Whilst its not possible to host all games at Keys Park, the vision is any key games, for any age group (eg : Cup Finals or League deciding games) will be played also at Keys Park, if we can make the dates work alongside the required games for the First Team Fixtures.  Providing everyone the opportunity to come down to support the teams.  But everyone’s welcome to follow each teams journey on the way, as their games will be advertised on their respective social media pages.

We shall also be holding further open days, should you wish to join one of these teams as a player or in some cases a coach or even a manager of one of the teams.  Please keep an eye on our media sites for more details once fixed, for full details of which teams have vacancies.

Do you wish to be part of the team & club also?  We still welcome any teams of other age groups both male and female to get in touch with the club on sales@hednesfordtownfc.com, should you too wish to be involved and part of this Stronger Together programme to become one of the clubs official affiliated teams and to open the pathways for player progression into the Hednesford Town Football Club Academy and First Teams (both Men’s and our Future Ladies Teams), as we have openings to fill all other age groups down to U8’s.  So if you manage a team, or if your playing as part of a team and they would also be interested in learning more and joining the pathway, please get in touch.

We would like to thank everyone involved that has assisted to get us to this point, and to all those people also still behind the scenes, from parents, volunteers, staff and many more.  Without you all, none of this would be possible.

Chairman Graham Jones commented on the above “We have worked very hard behind the scenes together to establish and embrace a solid foundation for today, tomorrow and the future.  We have been in attendance to games and training sessions, for various teams, and plan to develop this much further over this coming year, with greater overlap and involvement from the first team into all other teams.  This will assist, in not only helping the individual team management structures, but more importantly the players themselves, as it is they who are our future.

We have set out the structure we wish to follow, to enable clarity to all, from players, managers, coaches and parents, to ensure we provide a clear approach to the newly developed structure.  This will range from how progression can work, what we all need to do to enable it, from coaching methods and training/matchday processes, down to subscription payments and where all the money is spent, from training grounds, match official payments, training gear, the list goes on and on….but the key thing is that this will remain the individual teams money, to develop each team further.

We are also pleased to say that each of the players will have many benefits which the club will provide them, which not only will benefit the players themselves, it will grow the clubs foundation itself and bring even more fans into the games.  It will assist our own Academy, via organic growth & ultimately it will benefit the club as a whole, producing some wonderful players for the first teams down the line.  This has been created for Today, Tomorrow and the Future for the club, further growing the clubs community involvement.

This opportunity for the team photo, was the first we could organise, and I thank each and every person for making such a wonderful thing happen.  It was such a joyous moment for all, as I could clearly see how proud each person was, that they each had assisted in creating this team.  I was only sad for those who could not attend, as it was impossible that everyone could be there.  However, everyone was with us in heart & spirit, and together overall we shall each progress forwards, positively, and together.  I’m excited to be involved in such a project, and after the world affairs over the last year or so, with Coronavirus, it is nice that we are finally delivering good news and something special to look forward to.  We hope as many fans as possible, also get behind each team, to support them in any way possible.  As we together are the meaning of #OneClubOneBadge.”

We know one thing, this season is sure to be a barnstormer.  The club continues to grow.  The energy and strength behind the teams gathers momentum, and we hope that with it all results, victories and development throughout all comes forwards together.

We are Hednesford Town Football Club.

We are the Pitmen (and Women).

We are #OneClubOneBadge.
