Hednesford Town Football Club can today confirm that Ben Bailey has been released by the club.

Bailey, 30, is the club’s record appearance holder having come through the clubs youth academy before making his first team debut. Apart from 2 short spells with AFC Telford United and welsh side Newtown FC Bailey has spent his entire career at the PRG Stadium@Keys Park and was part of the iconic side that won promotion in the playoff final against FC United of Manchester.

Bails is a true club legend and we wish him well on his future both inside and outside of the game. Bails will be having a testimonial game at the PRG Stadium@Keys Park to celebrate his service to the club at a date to be arranged between the end of the current season and beginning of the next season. A further announcement will be made in due course.
