Harvey Portman, 18, joins the pitmen….

Harvey joins us having worked through the Stourbridge FC Youth Setup, and went on trial with Leicester City U23’s and has also recently been with Stoke City U23’s.

His plays as a left footed centre half and is a very talented player with huge potential.  Just the right sort of player who can come in and fits the current system of play and recruitment policies.  Harvey played against the Pitmen in the cup and put in a man of the match performance, which also lead to Stoke looking at him.

Were incredibly delighted to have Harvey join us.  As he’s a player that has a bright future ahead of him.  His work ethic and ability will continue to grow and with games coming thick and fast, were sure he will step up and continue his superb performances for Hednesford Town.
