BAILEY COMES HOME

Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that defender, record appearance holder and club legend Ben Bailey returns to the RACE Stadium.

A deal has been reached for Bens return for the season subject to standard FA registrations, which will hopefully see Ben available for the planned Away trip to Alvechurch this coming Tuesday evening.

Bailey, 31, came through the youth ranks for the Pitmen and apart from brief spells with AFC Telford United and Newtown had been at the RACE Stadium for his entire career prior to moving on to Tamworth last season however the central defender has now decided to return to his club for a third time to add to his tally of record appearances for the Pitmen.

Bailey had his testimonial for the club earlier this year celebrating his time with the Pitmen where he made over 470 appearances and the club are delighted to see the return of Ben Bailey to the Race Stadium, adding to the strength and experience to the team.
