Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that Olamide Ibrahim has joined the club on loan from league 1 Derby County.

Ibrahim, 18, began his career with Manchester City’s youth academy before moving to their rivals Manchester United prior to his arrival at Pride Park.

Holding dual Irish and Nigerian nationality Ibrahim came off the bench for his Derby debut in the FA Cup away at Chorley in 2021.

The midfielder who turns 19 later this week has spent 2 years with Derby’s under 18’s and under 23’s making a total of 52 appearances and is an exiting prospect for the Rams and Hednesford Town are delighted that he has agreed to join the Pitmen on loan.
