Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that defender Callam Mendez-Jones has agreed to rejoin the Pitmen.
Mendez-Jones, 27, began his career with West Bromwich Albion. He had a brief loan spell with Accrington Stanley before first arriving at Keys Park in 2017. Versatile defender Callam then spent time with Halesowen, Rushall, Redditch and Buxton before returning to the Pitmen in early 2020 where he remained until 2022.
The pacey defender had a year out of football whilst he set up his own business and manager Danny Glover was delighted to bring Callam back to the club now he is ready to resume football saying “Cal is a great lad, knows the club well and is a very good defender who reads the game well and has plenty of pace, very happy to get him back with us”.
Welcome back to the Pitmen Callam!
