Injury Update from our Sports Therapist Adam Paget

Friday 12/04/2024

Hello all Pitmen,

Just a quick update on our current injury list situation.
Blaine Rowe – suffered a grade 1 calf strain against Witton Albion and has followed an intense rehab programme, on Tuesday at Chasetown during the warm up he completed 1k straight line box to box running and a mobility test pain free. He will train with me tomorrow on change of direction running, ball work, isometric and plyometric exercises, if unscathed will do a rehab session with me and hopefully take some part in training Tuesday with a view to full training from next Thursday.
Jai Verma – had MRI on Tuesday so awaiting his results from GP, the radiologist did suspect Piriformis Syndrome which was my original diagnosis. He took part in a rehab session with me last night and will be available for selection tomorrow. Please note Jai is in extreme pain but he his giving everything for the cause.
Josh Endall – suspected medial meniscus tear. Undergoing an MRI investigation.
Ryan Brown – suspected abductor longus grade 2 strain, will be out for up to 4 weeks. A second-degree strain is defined as tissue damage that compromises the strength of the muscle but does not include complete loss of strength and function. Ryan took some part in last night’s training session for rehab and guidance for Rhys Williams.
