Sam Barnes joins the Pitmen

Rob Smith has today made another excellent signing bringing in 20 year old centre back Sam Barnes from Marine AFC.
Sam is a former Liverpool FC schoolboy who then went on to play for Stockport County FC in the 2009/2010 season.
Both he and his brother Louis then went on trial at Manchester United FC before Sam then joined Northwich Victoria FC. After a short spell at Vics, Sam then joined Marine AFC where both he and his brother Louis have had an excellent season.
Sam will be an ideal replacement for Cheyenne Dunkley who signed for Kidderminster Harriers at the end of last week.
We would all like to welcome Sam to Keys Park, he is joining at a very exciting time for the club as Rob Smith continues building his new team.

Execelent signing for the pitmens, Marine must be sad to see yet another star player to leave, Maybe his brother Louis will follow Sams footsteps.
