Hednesford Town Football Club Carol Concert

Monday 23/11/2015

Following a successful first event in 2014, Hednesford Town Football Club will once again be hosting a carol concert and evening of remembrance at Keys Park this December.

Monday 7th December will see a number of groups from the local community converging on Keys Park, the home of Hednesford Town, in order to take part in a specially prepared event which will be hosted by our Club Chaplain Revd. Paul Kelly.

Management, players, staff and volunteers from the football club will be joined by pupils from St. Peter’s School and Staffordshire University Academy, along with the Hednesford Salvation Army band and also Cannock Radio who will be recording proceedings during the evening.

Starting at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm, the night will once again run for a couple of hours and see familiar Christmas carols being sung. It will also feature a remembrance of what life was like for footballers who had gone away to war a century ago, with tales of Christmas as a professional footballer, before a culmination of the event once again taking place in the main stand.

We hope that you can join us for an event which proved to be popular last year and one which we hope will attract a similar attendance this time around.
