Barry Town fixture cancelled.

Hednesford Town and Barry Town agree to cancel Saturday’s away fixture.

Pitmen manager Gary Hayward explained; “Due to injuries and a few players on holiday we let Barry Town know we would have to bring a mixture of first team and youth players. As they are playing against Swansea City on the Friday night, it was agreed that it was in the best interest of both clubs to cancel the game.”

James Hurst is still a few weeks away from fitness, while Ben O’Hanlon is recovering from a broken toe. Kieran Wells, Louis Ezewele and Osebi Abadaki are carrying slight knocks. Gary added; “We have had a good pre-season and now need to have one eye on our opening league game a week on Saturday, not risk anyone getting injured and give some of the lads who are carrying knocks the chance to recover.”
