Hednesford Town are very pleased to announce striker Dan Turner has joined the club for the 2020/21 season
Turner, 21, began his career with Port Vale where he spent 3 years as a professional in both League 1 and League 2. During his time with Vale he also went out on loan to Kidsgrove Athletic (scoring 5 goals in just 4 appearances), Worcester City, Tamworth (where he linked up with Hednesford manager Andy Morrell) and Falkirk. He left Vale Park last year joining Northern Premier league side Hyde United for the cancelled 2019/20 season, at the time of the season being abandoned Dan had scored 11 goals for the Tigers
Manager Andy Morrell was very keen to bring Turner to the PRG Stadium @Keys Park having worked with Dan previously at Tamworth for a short spell and is also well known to Danny Glover through his connections at Port Vale. Dan has been described as a very clever player with good vision and a very good finisher all of which are key attributes for the young forward.
Welcome to the Pitmen Dan!
