SA Chairman’s Open Invite To Fans

Tuesday 06/12/2011

Hednesford Town Football Club Supporters Association Joint-Chairman Scott Smith has made an open invitation to all fans of The Pitmen to lend their support to SA Day next Saturday at Keys Park.

Those current members who have yet to re-join for 2012 will be able to sign up and discuss what the Association’s second year in existence will bring.

Smith stressed how important it is that members new and current lend their support to the Association.

‘We have made real strides during our first year but now is the time when we need the fans of Hednesford Town to join so that we have the funds to continue the hard work we have done to improve the football club in any way we can. Anyone who has an interest in The Pitmen is welcome to talk to us and find out what we have planned.’

SA committee members will be in the Chase Suite from 1pm to collect membership forms and discuss with fans their plans moving into 2012. Any member who joins on Saturday will guarantee first refusal on a ticket for the SA Middlesbrough Commemoration Night in February 2012.

Then on the night the HTFCSA Christmas Race Night starts at 7.30pm with several races scheduled with prizes for the winning horses including meat vouchers at Clive Lilley Butchers, Pye Green, membership offers at Nuffield Health Fitness Centre, Hednesford and free pet food at Penparc Pet Supplies, Longford. Entry is free for members and £3 for non members.

Smith is positive the day can be a success and set the Association up for the new year ahead.

‘I am sure our members will come out and support what we are doing and do their bit for the Club at the same time by helping raise money to improve the infrastructure at Keys Park.’
