Enthusiastic Hednesford Town supporters have begun purchasing their tickets for the reunion of the Clubs’ greatest ever side and architects of their most famous day at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough in the FA Cup Fourth Round fifteen years ago when The Pitmen narrowly lost 3-2, scheduled for Saturday 18th February.
Joint-Chairman of the Hednesford Town Football Club Supporters Association and one of the organisers of the event, Scott Smith, has said that the SA have seen a steady number of fans buying their ticket for the night since they were made available two weeks ago.
‘We have had orders from our most ardent supporters but have also had ticket enquiries from those Hednesford folk who have such fond memories and are really looking forward to a good night reminiscing about that fantastic day in 1997.’
‘There has been a huge amount of work put in by members of the Supporters Association and it will be great to see as many Pitmen followers as possible welcome the team of legends on the night.’
Tickets will be available at all three of the remaining home games prior to the evening including North Ferriby on Saturday 11th February, Stoke City on Tuesday 14th February and Marine on Saturday 18th February.
A ticket for the evening costs £14 for non-SA members, £12 for SA members and is inclusive of a Hog Roast supper and the opportunity to enjoy what promises to be a memorable evening.
Interested supporters are also able to contact Chris Brewerton on 07919912811 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to order tickets outside of match days.
