Match Preview: Coalville Town (A)

Friday 17/03/2017

The Pitmen return to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Coalville Town.

It will be the first time that we have ever made a trip to the home of the Ravens with the two sides never having crossed paths before.

We head to Coalville looking to avenge the 2-1 defeat that they handed out to us at Keys Park earlier in the season when both sides looked set for a point, only for a late goal to hand the victory to the visitors.

Coalville sit ten points behind us in the league table having recorded 43 points from their 37 league games with their home form seeing them claim five victories, five draws but suffering eight defeats.

Under the guidance of newly appointed manager Gary Birch, the Pitmen will be looking to pick up where they left off on Tuesday evening when we were able to make progression in the Staffordshire Senior Cup.

On the injury front, Jordan Fitzpatrick (hamstring) is definitely ruled out with the midfielder having aggravating an old injury while George Washbourne (hamstring) will face a late fitness test to see if he can be involved.

The game kicks off at the usual time of 3pm and we hope that you can make the trip to support the Pitmen.
