Two Added to Pitmen squad

Friday 08/09/2017

Hednesford Town manager Rob Smith has this evening moved to bolster his squad with the signing of two new players.

Joining the club are Joe Fitzpatrick and Conor Levingston, with both being registered in time to be available for tomorrow’s home game against Sutton Coldfield Town.

Fitzpatrick, 20, began his career at Wolves before moving to Mansfield Town. The Oldbury born central midfielder spent time on loan at Sutton Coldfield Town before linking up with Worcester City and Boston United. Joe was most recently with AFC Telford United.

Levingston joins on a month’s youth loan from Wolves. The talented midfielder comes to Keys Park highly rated, having earned a new one year deal at Molineux earlier this year. Born in Ireland, Levingston was snapped up by Wolves at the age of 15 some four years ago.

The Pitmen can also confirm that Phil Male and Andy Ling have departed the club following the change in management team earlier this week. We thank both for their efforts while with the club and wish them well for the future.
